This is a NEW Steering Arm Split bolt design made to replace original style steering arms that have play between the spindle and steering arm.
These will fit most all IH tractors 656 through 5488 with adjustable front ends with spline type spindles.
These also may be used on 826, 1026, and late 56 tractors, but the toe in will need to be adjusted because the splines are not indexed the same as the original IH arms.
I cannot get the arms with the correct spline index for the those tractors, but these arms will work.
This arm is placed on the spindle and the bolt and nut is drawn tight to pinch the arm tight to the spindle therefore removing any play. These will work on new spindles or those that are very worn.
