This is a NEW Design PTO Clutch Pack Kit for IH tractors 706 through 6788.
Includes 18 One Sided Friction Drive Plates, and 2 Steel Sealing Rings.
This kit replaces the original design of 5 fiber discs and 12 steel plates, or the old heavy duty design of 7 fiber discs and 9 steel plates. This NEW design has both the inner drive discs and outer drive discs having fiber clutch material on one side and smooth steel on the other of every disc. The only difference being the way the discs are driven otherwise the discs are the same. This gives double the amount of drive surface compared to the old style Heavy Duty pack. This kit also comes with 2 steel seal rings to replace the 2 original Teflon seal rings on the clutch pack carrier.
This kit should be considered for applications where the PTO clutch pack is being replaced often due to excess load. This clutch pack has the potential to put a lot more strain on the rest of the PTO drive train, so as with the original or old heavy duty clutch packs ,the PTO pressure should be set correctly according to the IH specs for your tractor.
